my dad left his laptop on w/o cable adapter and it died on him. when he tried to start it up again its js stuck on a black screen. no fan no sound no image. what can i do to fix it.
is it crashed
is it in like safe mode

The laptop tried to hibernate but encountered an error and hung. Unplug and just remove the battery for a minute or two. Reinstall battery. Power ON. You should be back in business in no time at all.

remove battery
plug into wall
press and hold power button for 10 seconds
release power
press again to power on
