Differences don't drive people apart - attitudes and an intolerance to another person's faults and quirks do. Some people who are as different as night and day get on famously.
You can be with someone who's almost your mirror image and drive each other bonkers.

I believe, the "miss conception of assuming all the time" , is the main reason, why people "grow apart".

Gosh yes! My ex was an avid sports fan, I'm not! Hated movies, I love em' ! Drank everyday until he couldn't get out of his recliner to get in the bed.......... Yeap, People should not be identical but not opposite.
