Now how can it snow underwater? And how does Spongebob drink out of a glass underwater? Wouldnt the liquid in it just float away?

LOL! Even my 5 year old who LOVES Spongebob asks me,"Mommy, how can they have fire underwater? How come they can't swim under the water? How can they cook underwater? How can they go to the beach underwater? How can they drink a glass of water underwater?"
Even so, it is still one funny cartoon!

thats what makes it so funny, i saw that episode, it says it right at the beginning (a peice of glacier floats over bikini bottom and then melts, causing it to snow) and the other show is when sandy dares them to go to the surface if im not mistaken (just before spongebob goes out, mr.krabs gives him a glass and says "make it last, boy"). But you're right, those things can´t happen (like when spongebob and patrick make those realistic noises in the box using just "imaginaaAAaation") and that's exactly why i like it.

I think that's the episode where Sandy hibernates. Remember she lives in a giant snow globe type thing underwater.

On that note, how can a sponge have body parts and talk? It obviously cannot snow underwater. A better question would be: Why are some people so retarded that they have to question the scientific accuracy of cartoons?

you didn't see the very beginning of the episode.
in the beginning, it explains that normally iceburgs are in arctic waters, but sometimes they float into tropical waters, changing the climate drastically for undersea life...and it shows an iceburg above bikini bottom, and it starts snowing in the water.
the drinking underwater is supposed to be rediculous and silly...kind of like snowing underwater, kind of like talking sponges wearing suits underwater...

I am the biggest Spongebob fan you know and will ever know.That is the episode when Spongebob and Patrick get Sandys fur and Sandy gets really pissed after she finds out.

The humor on the show is absurdest, and it is a cartoon intended for children. It isn't really worth thinking too hard about.
