I think this is the best answer and it will be very simple to understand. This is the answer----->

step:1 x(squared)-3x+2=0

step:2 (x-2)*(x-1)=0

step:3 Hence, x=2 0r 1.

Verification of Result:

Substitute x=2 in the equation x(squared)-3x+2=0,

Therefore, 2(squared)-(3*2)+2=0

Then, 4-6+2=0 which means 0=0; Hence the result is proved.

Similarly you can substitute 1 in the equation to prove it that it is correct!.

Don't be fear of Maths. Its an Easy Subject.

OK. Stop hysterical sobbing. Take a Kleenex and dry ur eyes. I would pass u one but ur a bit far away. Now, what number +2 =0? Answer -2, so x(squared)-3x has to equal -2.
Let x=1. 1(squared) [1x1] =1. 3x=3. 1-3= -2. -2+2=0. Hope this helps.

x^2 -3x + 2 factored is (x -2)(x-1). If you set the equation to equal 0, then x=2 or 1.

the answer is 1 and 2
i got them from factoring the equation.
i factored it to (x-2)(x-1)
multiply these two and you will see it comes out with the regular wquation
