I think they need to take the story out of the news. It's absolutely ridiculous how there is a war going on over seas and our news is locked in on Paris Hilton. People get arrested every single day. What's up with this "mental illness" she has all of a sudden? *sneeze* sorry I'm allergic to bullshit.
Yes, she should stay in jail. How is it fair for her to get out because she's famous, but others are locked up for the same thing and won't ever get their license back. What are they going to do when she kills someone out of stupidity? Give her community service?
Give me a break.

She should've went to jail a long time ago. And the fact that they only let her out because she was crying, is not an exception. Everyone else is crying and feeling pain in jail so why don't they let them out too ?! So it's really not fair that she gets treated specially. After all the bad things she's done not to mention the video she made. . .
At least she got sent back to jail. =D

I think anyone who drives drunk should get jail time, whether it's Paris Hilton or some random schmuck off the street.
The fact she violated her probation twice, makes it even that more deserving.

It is the right thing to do. She is extremely stupid and should do the time for her crime.
But with all the other things going on in the world...I could care less for poor Mrs. Hilton.

I think she should be treated like a civilillian. Go to a normal jail cell, with a roomate. Eat the gross food, take showers with everyone, and serve he 45 days.

I think it's a complete waste of air time. She contributes nothing to society besides being rich and the media continues to push her down our throats.
Besides, if you commit a crime you should go to jail. Violating your parole is a crime also.

Paris is a product of her upbringing, she is just as deprived as someone who was raised in poverty. Hers is a case of moral poverty. I have compassion for her and I am glad that this has happened, it might turn out to be her saving grace. She needs a good reality check. I'm hoping that this will be a catalyst for her and that she will see how empty her life really is. I'm praying for her.

she should not get any special treatment cause she is famous , she shouldn't have to spend any more or any less time in jail than a regular person

I think we all agree that no part of her sentencing, nor her release should be enacted because of her (so-called) celebrity. I wonder if other people would have been subject to less jail time for the same crime - maybe she was scapegoated from the start!
