Brainwashed sheeple: The New World Order has sucessfully dumbed down the media (propaganda) education (garbage- indoctrination) and the political class (bought and paid for)
it is plain sailing for it to undermine civic freedoms and rights.

The population of the Republic are willingly on the slow simmer to becoming subjects in an Empiral dicatatorship and yet are so happy to allow it to the point of despising anyone who'd dare say so.

Lincoln repealed Habeus Corpus, Roosevelt suspended Habeus Corpus, nearly every government in the 230+ years of this nation has suspended Habeus Corpus in a time or war. It is done so we can win the war. If you are not violating the law a suspension of Habeus Corpus will not affect you at all.

Most of the Patriot Act has gone away with the sunset. The Congress did not renew most it. The Patriot act was only set for 5 years. (Limits on government) When it expired it was not renewed but you still believe that the Patriot Act is in the same full force as it was in Oct 2002

I don`t see that it makes much difference. You might think you have certain freedoms and rights as Americans but the real restrictions on Americans are those imposed by media control, peer pressure and your own xenophobic paranoia. All that is required to make Mr America go along with anything the President wants is the Fear Factory. Just a few people in the Pentagon and CIA saying we foiled this terrorist plot and we know that Iran is making secret nuclear missiles to bomb America or Iraq has WMD`s and all rationality get tossed aside in the rush to jump on board. The Patriot act is just a symptom of the disease called Patriotism.

Lincoln suspended Habeus Corpus during the Civil War. The Patriot Act does not suspend Habeus Corpus.

your right!!
people are really dumb and we are slowly but surely giving up more power to the government. no one will do anything until it starts to physically affect them.
that being said there is a great youtube video where giuliani laughs at habeus corpus during the debate.

This is why I want Ron Paul to reverse the crap bush has done and get us on track again.

Thats it, if your going to America blast, you better make sure I'm not on the server.

Sure, we made a mistake with the Patriot Act, but you'd better believe its not coming back.

Now, about your America hating, I've already sent the only cure for it, a basket full of American flags which will be installed on your home in flame proof wrapping and made so that you can't reach them.

Bush reduced our country's morals in regards to prisoners and their basic rights.

We now torture detainees regulary, putting us in the same league as a China, as a N. Korea, as a Vietnam.

The Bush administration is as close to a fascist government as we've ever had in our history.

Are you so dumb as to not know that the writ of habeas corpus is not a right, but a priviledge which can be suspended in cases of rebellion, or invasion.
HELLO... anybody home?
I think 9/11 qualifies as an invasion.
Maybe you should try READING instead of WHINING.

Perhaps you can get somebody-anybody to follow along with you to get it right.
The next time you post a question, I won't expect more that two colors of crayons.

I don't know. Did you ask FDR during WWII when he imprisoned nearly 300,000 Japanese Americans in interim camps?
