i have some advice. here it goes:

STUFF TO AVOID:
-too many turns/shaines
-too many walks
-too many leaps
-too many battements/kicks
-dont add arms to battements/kicks. just put them either down or in an L or it looks weird
-dont go on the floor too much. if you keep coming up and donw from the floor it will look weird and inbalanced.

STUFF TO REMEMBER/ADD:
-when walking in a dance, add some arm movement
-when doing turns in second, go like 2 seconds and an attitude turn or 2 seconds followed by a hold or 2 and a leg hold
-for an upbeat song, dont stay fast thru the whole song. go fast for some parts and slower thru others so it doesn't look like you just had 50 cans of mountain dew and you're just flyin around the stage

song choices for jazz dances:
-'everytime we touch' by cascada
-'candyman (redone remix)' by christina aguilera
-'toxic' by britney spears
-'aint no other man (junior vasquez club remix)
-'listen to your heart' by D.H.T.
-'dirrty (tracey young radio)' by christina aguilera
-'lets go crazy' by prince (a stupid song, yet a great dance song)

email me for more dance songs!! i have PLENTY! ESPECIALLY for lyrical!!!

good luck!

The type of music depends on the beat of your dance,
choose one that you can dance too and isn't too fast or too slow.
