On every turn and corner Muslims have gotten the blame for almost everything especially after 9/11. Being a Muslim I can I feel just as bad about 9/11 as the next right wing fundamentalist. Every other day I am being harassed by people who dont know one thing about Islam. Why don't people try to learn about something instead of showing fear of what they do not know. How is everyone sure that a Muslim has done something?

One more thing people don't unerstand is that these people who call themselves Muslim whil doing these acts are interpreting a completely peacefull religion into what they want it to be.

Is there anyone here that an tell me why people act so bizzarly against other Muslims though they might not know at all about Islam?

To the person who asked me what I have done to try and stop terrorism..what have you done to learn about Islam and what in your definition is a terrorist? And how are you so positive those incidents were by Muslims? were you there or do you just believe it because you saw it on tv? Instead of sitting down and being brain washed what have you done in order to learn the truth.

And the person who mentioned Osama, If you dont have anything to say that makes sense then don't say it. Im surprised even in this day and age there is SO much ignorance.

Sister I'm also American Muslim and I think the reason people react so hatefully towards us is because they listen to CNN and FOX NEWS which show nothing but bad things and false lies about Islam. I think that see what the media wants them to see and don't bother to question whether those reports are accurate or not. So they decide that the best thing to do is to follow Bush and believe all the lies about Islam that are told on TV. I was 14 and not a Muslim when the 9/11 attacks occurred and I feel bad because of it even though Muslims and Islam had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks on America. I get called an embarrassment to the USA and get stared at a lot by people who I can quickly tell from the expressions on their faces don't like me because I wear hijab and am Muslim. I pity them and advise people to study the real Islam and read the Qur'an before they make assumptions and judgments about Islam and Muslims. Terrorism is NOT ALLOWED in Islam and terrorists ARE NOT MUSLIMS!

I agree with you fully. Muslims get the blame for something they cannot control. Terrorists are giving Islam a bad name to its peaceful image, and they don't seem to care. Because there are so many attacks unfortunately happening, people are blaming everything on Muslims, Muslims, Muslims. We Muslims condemn terrorism, why is it so hard to understand? Islam is being covered by so much terrorism, that people find it hard to accept the truth and peace of Islam. Of course God will take care of everything, we just need to pray and ask that God shows people the truth about Islam. God knows best.

Yes I know what you mean "in every century there are errors to be rectified and racisms to be apposed." There always is and has been a scape goat since the beginning of time. Okay you have racism against blacks they went through slavery you have racism against different cultures or even gender. It seems like one by one we each get stuck with the hot potato. It sucks but think of it this way on the day of Qayammah it would matter. Ignore the hateful looks or whispers. :) read a dua for Allah (swt) to guide them. They see Islam as t is showm to them what the media says labeling all of us. BUT you can change that show them Islam is a way of life a religion of peace. Insha'allah they will take heed.

particular you're superb. human beings shouldn't blame Islam for the act of one individual. i think of the subject is although, that the suicide bombers etc declare to be Moslems, so non-Moslems have a poor view of all Molsems. in assessment the human beings responsible for the shootings at Sandy Hook and at Columbine did not declare to be Christian - certainly, in relation to Columbine there's a guideline of an anti-christian stance. So suicide bombers claiming to be Moslems does not help you reason. Islam will stay blamed till the international sees Moslem religious leaders and community leaders being very vocal with regards to the shame that those suicide bombers carry upon Islam. till leaders commence condemning such acts and consistently denouncing, rejecting and status against those acts then ISlam will stay positioned to shame. I blame the religious leaders. they seem to afraid to stand up to acts and ideology that are actually not in the Quran. Peace be upon you. would Allah save you.

I cannot imagine. After all, only 19 of the top 20 major incidents of terrorism worldwide in the past two decades were conducted by Muslims (not counting Iraq, of course). As a Muslim, what have you done to denounce the terrorists, or to stop their activities?

I feel for you and am sorry people blame you.

the latest poll I read in the news paper 42% of muslims are not against muslim extreem terrorism-which included 9/11

which side are you on I hope neither, in the bombings of shiite and sunny muslims of each others mosques and murdering their leaders dragging them out into the street since the golden mosque bombing.

this is what helped me to believe in your prophet Jesus and see through the mess of this whole issue=one I was going to commit suicide having everthing I wanted as a Jew with money.

and the reason is because I finally believed the prophecies and prayed- "Jesus I am sorry for my sins, come into my heart and help me, be my friend, amen."
He said he would in Revelation 3:19&20 "I love you, and ask you to repent from your sins quickly and turn to me, Behold I stand at your heart door and knock, if you open the door asking me in, I will come in and be your friend."

this is why I came to believe Jesus=As a Jew I was taught Jesus was a liar, yet as I read the Jewish prophecies of the Messiah I had to chose if I would continue to believe a lie or to believe the truth.

A proof of the Bible being the Word of God and not tampered with is the fact that these prophecies are in the Jewish scriptures -while the Jewish people apart from Messianic Judaism say if you believe them your not Jewish any more!

"Unto us A CHILD IS BORN, A Son is given, and he will be almighty God, the prince of peace." Isaiah 9:6

"He will be exalted. Yet he will be marred more than any man.
All we like sheep have gone astray and the sins of us all will be put upon him. He will be despised and rejected. He will lay down his life to make atonement for our sins. He will die with the wicked and be burried with the rich. He will see his seed and prosper." Isaiah 52:13-53:12

ARE YOU THE SEED OF JESUS?= JOHN 3 Jesus said repent of sin and be born again.

will you believe the prophecies and salvation? I did

prayin for you Salam be upon you, David
