found it in paper,and all the guy knows is that it's 150v? and it's 4 years old with little use for $50

If the owner will look at the name plate, you can tell from it. A unit that draws 15 amps will produce about 12-15000 BTU or 1 to 11/4 tons. This will do a medium room if it does not have a lot of southern exposure windows or it too hot an environment like a desert.

Ask the seller if he can give you the manufacturer's name, and the model and serial number. Go to the mfg website and look up the info there.

Off the top, 115v window shaker won't pull much heat out of a large room. It will be ok for one small to medium size room.
