My daughter and I were watching the movie (first a book) "How to Eat Fried Worms". Can you name some ways?

Instead of using the French's green bean casserole with the onions...use fried worms!!

Catfish, bass and bluegill are very tasty, edible fish. Catfish and even bass start to get what are called "mud-streaks" in them, and make them taste awful, after getting a certain weight. Catfish under 5 pounds are really tasty when prepared right, and 3 pound and under bass are good too. Don't even get started on the bluegill, i love them best! I would eat both channel cats under 5 lbs, and bluegills, but i am not big on eating bass. Catfish - For good eating sized catfish, use a dip-bait, stink bait, chicken liver, or nightcrawler. Those are not baits for big fish, they are made for a lot of fish. And you will catch a lot of tasty looking ones on the way with them. Nightcrawlers or Chicken Liver would be the easiest to get to. Nightcrawlers can be dug up, and Chicken Liver can be bought for a dollar for a small bowl at a local Grocery store. Just use an ole Zebco 33 combo for them, a baitholder hook, and a split-shot sinker. Fish on the bottom. Bass - Use a live-minnow. They aren't easy to come by, and are sometimes expensive, but you can set all day long catching keeper, and eating sized bass. Nightcrawlers and such will generally catch other fish, before they would bass. You can still use the 33 combo, with a bass sized hook, and split-shot sinker along with the minnow. Bluegill - The worm. Short & easy. They catch them all-day everyday, anywhere. Use a Zebco 11 spincast or trigger spin combo, or a Shakespeare Firebird combo. I bought it at Wal-Mart for $13 and it's decent for just going out and catching bluegills, occasionally. Use a small hook, bobber, split-shot and earthworm.

Sometimes it best to soak them in some water to clean out the grit. Salt water may work better, it good for Crawdads.
I would batter them similar to onion rings and fry in peanut oil.
