I am not 100% sure what you are asking..........did you find out, at 13-15 weeks, that you are carrying a child with a handicap? If so, first of all, my concern for you. This is a huge blow. Secondly, it is a huge decision you are facing and not one that should be answered by a group of strangers on line. You want to be speaking with your doctor, possibly a geneticist, possibly a pediatrician, and most importantly, a therapist who can help you (and your partner if in the picture) what to do.

My husband and I already agreed if we found out the baby was unhealthy we would terminate the pregnancy, good thing our son is at 20 weeks and healthy. The only reason for our decision was we wouldnt be able to afford a child who is handicap and we most likely would not have been able to care for it.

In this case it's a very hard decision. In one sense I don't think it's right to bring a baby into the world when you know that the baby will have severe problems.. But then again it is a baby and if you feel like you can't do anything for the baby because of the problems, you should think about adoption.

i'm 15 weeks too... and that i've got been feeling around my abdomen to work out if i can stumble on a lump (on the grounds that i'm incredibly showing already!) yet I havent had any success so far. there is plenty cushioning in there, you have not something to fret approximately! look how hard they press on you for the ultrasound or in the time of commonly used practitioner visits! you're nice. you're very fortunate to have felt the infant pass already, I havent felt something yet... yet Im hoping i visit quickly! Congrats!

I believe that God wouldn't put us in a situation we can't handle. Having said that, I Would NOT terminate my pregnancy. I also acknowledge that their are going to be struggles and taking care of a handicap child is not easy. But there also is going to be a wonderful maricle in your life that is going to change your life forever.

Please think about it before you decide to take action.

May God Bless you.

I teach physical education to students who are disabled and, no I would not have aborted any of them, our humanity is not determined by how smart we are or if we have a physical disability, we are human when our parents put us together at the beginning, I am also adopted and grateful that I was not killed by the abortionist's knife

I would keep the baby, but that's just me. Only you can make this decision for yourself!
