What if the bad news was that you were about to get a punch in the face?

It depends. If you can take the punch in the face and that would make the reality of the bad news disappear, then of course the punch is better. If you get the punch instead of hearing the bad news, but the news is still a reality, then just tell me about it and keep your punch to yourself, thank you very much!

It depends on how bad the bad news are.. I would rather have the bad news then the punch in the face... cause either way I'll find out so why hit me and tell me bad news. Just give me the bad news thank you very much.

The day I found out my 3 year old son had died, I would rather have had someone punch me in the face 50 times then to hear that news.

yes especially the really bad news I always get I would much rather have a punch to the face-it would hurt less and then heal

Yeah, because the punch in the face only hurts for a little while...

A 'punch' in the face wouldn't leave the permanent scar that the 'really' bad news would leave. That would stay w/ you forever.
