NO Jeans. The button down shirt sounds great as long as it is neatly pressed (no wrinkles) tucked in with a nice pair of navy blue or black slacks. If you go with a skirt, nothing higher than 3 inches above the knees and wear hose. Bare legs is unprofessional and looks very unkept on an interview.
You want to look smart, polished and professional regardless of what job you are interviewing for.
And looking at your pic, wear the hair up. You have a bright face. You want the interviewer to pay attention to you and not what you are wearing.

Hi Steph:
Black slacks with cute dress shoes and a nice clean cotton 3/4 length button down is always a hit on the job interview. make sure you do not wear anything to sexy or to much jewelery. Just focus on neat and cleanliness and think before you answer a question. Remember to relax and smile too. Do not wear super high heels or gym shoes. Do not wear a heavy perfume and make sure your hair is neat and away from your face. Good luck I am sure you will be just fine.

Hey Steph! I think the best thing you could wear to an job interview of such, would be a nice shirt(the kind with like a couple buttons at the top, sorry don't know what there called) and a matching skirt. This would give you a responsible and pro look, and if you wear something like green colored it is supposed to increase your chances too!Good Luck!

Pants are fine, but don't wear jeans unless you're applying for a construction job or lawnkeeping job. Indoor jobs or jobs interacting with customers require some slacks or a skirt (doesn't matter which) and a button down shirt.
Once you're past minimum wage jobs, the higher paying the job, the better you should dress for it.

NO JEANS!!! You can wear a nice pair of dark pants or a skirt. For the shirt, it doesn't necessarily have to be button-down but make sure it has no sleeves and that there's no cleavage showing. Good luck!

Wear something that you would either expect to wear to work, or if they wear uniforms, that would be the equivalent dress level. In any event, do not wear clothing of a lower dress level than khaki-type pants and a nice button down shirt.
Good luck!

I would say a pair of DIckies, or something similar, and a nice, clean, unwrinkled button-down shirt. If you are applying for a position in food, make sure you don't have nail polish on your nails, and that your hair is pulled back.
