i've learned not to care what others think about me. i used to but then i was paranoid all the time worrying about what everyone thought of me...it ran my life. then i started just caring what I though of myself and if I liked how I looked...my life got a whole lot easier and a lot more stress free. so no...i don't care what other people think. plus i don't believe in changing yourself so other people like you, i'd rather have someone like me for who i am not who i'm pretending to me...sorry got a little windy...sorry

Wow! What great ? My mother always told me to do what was right for me and not worry about what other people thought. But that was extreemley contradictory to how she lived. She had to keep up appearances and I was never allowed out of the house unless I looked perfect, hair and all ,and that continued until I graduated from high school and moved out. I kept it up all my life. My ex hub couldn['t understand why I had to "put on my face" to run up to the grocery store. I have no lack of confidence in my self or my looks it is just something that she instilled in me. I guess I am a little on the wild side because I don't really care wht people think about me. I know that I never hurt anybody and I am a great person full of compassion, and understanding, and can always walk a mile in the other guys shoes. She taught me alot about life but as far as my personal life goes, I do what I feel is right for me regardless of what others think..

As for what people think of me specifically, I don't care at all. However, in my line of work as an artist, the opinions of others matter because if they don't like what I produce, then I can't make a sale. And to go further, when I create a piece of work, I don't cater to the latest trends and even when I do someones portrait, I don't ask for the client's input. The paintings that I do are the product of my creative mind and technical ability alone, otherwise I couldn't put my name of the piece.

No, I am as close to perfect as a person can get, what's not to like? If you let other peoples opinion of you bother you, that is just that much more of your life wasted on trivial matters when you could be out living it up with others who don't question everything you say or do. I never did give a rats behind what other people think about anything, especially me!

Only my family and closest friends, other than that, I don't really care what people think about me. I try to live a peaceful, simple life and if people don't like me for that, then so be it. It doesn't affect me one way or another.

Everyone cares to some extent. It's a natural behavior that is adaptive to our species. Humans depend on each other for survival, so we are biologically programmed to engage in behavior that will ensure our continued interaction with other humans.

At least, that's what make sense to me.

I honestly have to say I do. I'm self conscious of myself, and quite insecure, so whenever someone gives me a compliment, it's like me giving myself a compliment. But when someone insults me, I'll take it like anyone else and believe it.

I definitely care of what other think of me but lately I could care less because i am tired of trying to please people when they simply just don't care.

yes but I am learning to separate that from how I feel about myself. I think it is hard to think that someone does not like you. We are all humans though and cannot always like everyone.
