The Democrats say that they are supporting the troops by wanting them home. But is that realing supporting the troops and the U.S.? Clinton thought that the military was meant to be butlers for his staff and any one else that he liked. Never once did he used the military to go after our enemies. how is that supporting the troops? Al-Quida was at war with us long before Bush came into office. They declared war on us back in 93. After the first Trade Center bombing. Yet after all that is said done Clinton ran Bush did not. Are they realy being supported by bringing them home? Are we willing to fight them here at home or over on their own turf? They have despised the military since VietNam.

Seems to me the Dems have a long history of great support for the military. I know many military people right now questioning why the Repubs continue to want them to die for a country (Iraq) that doesn't want them there and for a cause that was fabricated and a lie. The Dems gave Bush a bill that would have fully funded the war for a year, assured the troops of the proper medical care once they returned, plus given the troops much needed new armoured vehicles. Bush vetoed this and signed a bill that only funds them until Sept 07 all because he disagreed with the much needed timelines for the Iraqi government.

Negative. My father, my brother, and my husband all served/still serve in the Army. My dad only saw a few days of action before he was killed in Vietnam. My brother who is home from Iraq, is literally crazy from the mental toil, and on top of it is losing his wife and 2 girls because he's so messed up.

My husband is an Army surgeon who is serving in Iraq right now. I miss the hell out of him and worry sick about him.

I despise the leaders who misuse my family's generous sacrifice. And by the way, we are ALL democrats. Get with the program and quit the stereotyping.

I think democrats appreciate the troops more than the republicans..seeing as how we don't want them to be killed in this unncessary war.

There is a BIG difference between supporting the troops, and supporting a war.

They shouldn't even dispise them. After all, the Military is doing their job, protecting this nation. I'm amazed at such rude answers.

We don't, what's your malfunction?

EDIT:

Hey, Johnny Boy...what service have you enlisted in? The Boy Scouts? Or perhaps the Girls Scouts?

Unless you signed on the dotted line, and did your time, you got no right to get in anybody's face. Good thing this is the internet. Do this with large groups, and I bet you would get pounded a few times.

Grow up.

Because the Democrat Party has been taken over by Left-Wing-Commie Military Haters.
This came about during the 60's. The old Hippies now rule the Democrats.
The Democrats hate the Military, and hate us Veterans.
USN.
