Yes, quite often !
Since I hate going grocery shopping, I usually go every
2nd week, which means that I have to drag one of my
daughters with me, cause we fill up 2 full over-flowing carts !
Last week, the girl at the grocery must have been new,
because she looked at me and said "Do you have any idea
what all that is going to cost you ?"
So I answered, "No clue hon, but when you get to 50 bucks
just stop scanning !"
Poor girl thought I was serious, she kept looking at me like
I was out of my mind ! (lol)
But I did put her out of her misery, when I told her it was only
a joke !
Hugs,

Only once, to say it looked like I was having a party, and I was. There were a lot of beverages and snack-type foods in the cart, not real grocery items.

Yes. A few weeks ago, I went grocery shopping and bought chinese noodles. While I was putting my groceries on the the belt thingy, this (Chinese) guy in front of me was like, "Don't eat too much of that stuff. The food colouring is not good for you, trust me, I am chinese."

Not on my grocery cart, but on what I was purchasing.
It was me and my girlfriend. We had condoms and a pregnancy test.
The cashier dared to ask!
