Why ask, like the 9/11 commission, the JFK commission, the USS liberty had investigations done by Israel AND the US who concluded it was a case of mistaken Identity!

Whats the matter, don't believe your government or this is a conspiracy, right..but not 9/11!

I guess we never shot down a civilian Iranian aircraft. What was that? We can't tell a commercial jet an A300B2 from a fighter. We were illegally in Iranian waters.

We killed 290 people!

"Iran Air Flight 655 (IR655) was a commercial flight operated by Iran Air that flew from Bandar Abbas, Iran to Dubai, UAE. On Sunday July 3, 1988, the aircraft flying IR655 was shot down by the U.S. Navy guided missile cruiser USS Vincennes between Bandar Abbas and Dubai, killing all 290 passengers and crew aboard, including 38 non-Iranians and 66 children. The Vincennes was inside Iranian territorial waters at the time of the shoot-down.

According to the U.S. government, the Iranian airbus was mistakenly identified as an attacking military fighter. The Iranian government, however, maintains that the Vincennes knowingly shot down a civilian aircraft.

The flight number IR655 is still used by Iran Air on the Tehran-Bandar Abbas-Dubai route"

It was a regular flight.

We made a "mistake" that cost 290 lives of Iranians, 66 being children. We lost 34 on the Liberty and Israel can't make a mistake!

And no I would not ask! You aren't going to change the outcome!

Are there STILL people who believe in this conspiracy theory fantasy? Bottom line: of COURSE survivors of the incident don't like Israel's version of the story. It's VERY difficult to see things clearly when you are being shot at. However, every investigation into the incident vindicates Israel and their explanation that it was an honest mistake.
