It depends...

If you're crime is just bad enough that your prosecution and conviction can be used to convince the population the world is safe from your kind of vermin, then, yes, it's still illegal.

But if you have enough money to have pull, then, for all intents and purposes, your crime is not illegal... at least not punishable.

If you sneak across the border of the United States without going through proper channels, if you do so knowingly and intentionally, if you intend to undermine the economy of this country for your own benefit, apparently not. In fact, for committing that crime, we might even make you a citizen so you can be protected by the very laws you flaunt or disregard.

Oh... forgot... if you're under 18, and under the juvenile "system," it really doesn't make much difference what you do. After all, it's society's fault anyway. I suppose the damage you do as a kid is our just punishment for not having done better raising you.

One more thing... if you, as a parent, try to discipline your kid, absolutely worst kind of crime. You'll be lucky to escape the death penalty.

Don't worry. "Death penalty" now means life in prison without possibility of parole... for a couple of years... at least it does for murderers and sex offenders. I understand prison is a terrible place. Television, phones, exercise equipment, libraries, and the ability to commiserate with other criminals. When you get out, you'll be a smarter criminal and in better shape. Probably won't get caught the next time.

Anything can be illegal if you simply make a law against it.

Not if you live in San Antonio. The only thing that cops go after are murderers, rapists, assailants, and speeders. Feel free to commit any other crime without risk of prosecution.

In most states it is. Alabama, of course, still lags behind the times. There you can be arrested for NOT marrying a blood relative.

the bible says to follow " mans law " as well as GODS law . when i break " mans law " i dont feel to guilty as its more a rule that " man " laid down to further " his " demoralization of humanity . when i break the creators law i feel guilty . so if being illegal means pissing of " man " than the answer is no , if it means breaking GODS law than the answer is yes . GOD takes care of his own with his punishment as " man " doesnt .

Yes. That's almost like asking the question "if I stick a fork in my eye, will it hurt?"
