As for my self, I really hope he wing multiple rings. His relentless work ethic, his unmatched competitive ferver, and his will to win are some of the reasons that he is the best player in the world. And if he doesn't win, I put the entire blame solely on the Lakers organization for not surrounding him with more talent and for milking his marketability as if was a "cash cow," while building for the future around losers like Bynum. Just my opinion.

Of coarse he will win not one not two but he will win at least 4 more rings. He is the ambassador of the NBA. He has a killer in stint and is a defensive gem. The only thing he does not have is a supporting cast and another superstar player.

Just look back in the Jordan days. He always had Pippen and a supporting cast which consisted of, Steve Kerr, Dennis Rodman, Tony Kukoc, Luc Longley, Bj Armstrong, Ron Harper, John Paxson, Bill Wellington, Horace Grant (at his prime), Brent Barry. No great basketball player can do it himself.

The triangle offense is designed to win championships with the right players. I mean cmon Phil Jackson has won 9 Championships while coaching and 1 while playing. When the Lakers get all their little pieces together they will once again be unstopable and all of the bandwagon hoppers that became Clipper fans will band wagon their butts back to the Lakers.

When it is all said and done Kobe Bryant will be the best player that ever played, and Phil Jackosn will be the best Coach that has ever coached. Lakers taking it over in 07-08 and you can bet your house on it.

Agreed with every word you said. I want to see Kobe in the Finals again. Well I shouldn't be saying "again" because when he was winning championships I lived in Europe (born there too) and I was like 7 or 8 years old. But now that I moved to America and I love basketball, I wanna see my favorite player in the playoffs. I'm sure everybody else does too. Even the haters. He's a great player and the best. He's too good to NOT get into the Finals. And if he doesn't I would blame it on the Laker organization for not getting good players. But I'm sure he will be there again and will win it all!

Kobe 4ever!

PS: Mike, ummm you're a moron you know that right? You're hatin on Kobe and you dont even know how many points he scored!! IDIOT!!! This shows how dumb Kobe haters are!!

I think maybe 1 more. 2 at most. The Lakers, judging by how they played in the beginning of the season (27-13) actually looked like they'd go far in the playoffs. But then 5 people went out with injuries.

Not in the near future. He is a great player but he has some issues that he needs to get worked out. Like sharing the ball and putting confidence in his team mates. The thing that makes Jordan the best player ever is that he made every player on his team look like superstars. Kobe does not do that. He is to selfish to have the spotlight not on him. Until he gets his priorities straight no he wont win another one.

For a great player to win a championship, he must first become a LEADER. That does NOT include whining to TV and radio audiences about how bad his organization is.

A leader is someone who does the work, and expects more of himself than he asks of others. A leader earns people's respect, then they want to follow him.

Kobe wants to be "assigned" the position of leader, and everyone should just shut up, get in line and do things his way. That's not gonna happen.

Kobe is not - Jordan, Duncan, Nash, Magic, Robinson... they are LEADERS.

If Kobe stays in LA, he has to have a good scoring big man and maybe another decent shooter. If he gets traded or opts out of his contract, he needs to go to a team on the edge of making the playoffs, so he could put them in the playoffs and make a deep run in it.

No. The Lakers are mostly a young team, and teams full of young players don't normally win championships.

Yes. Carnivals have those games where you can win a prize by landing a dime on a dish. He can afford enough dimes to win a ring at one of those skill games. No teamwork necesary; no one to screw with his designs; he gets to take every shot. I think Baby Kryant can win a lot of rings, but as in basketball, it matters a lot whether he chooses to. Unfortunately, teamwork is essential to winning an NBA ring.
