It's already blown up since people want results from the six years of republican rule. Looking at the presidential debates both sides are singing the same old tune and the same terms are being bandied about: strong military, flip flop, gay marriage, I'm an anti-immigration candidate with spanish "Vote for me" signs, fight them there not here, I got my bible in my back pocket next to my strip club tokens with my gay lovers/girfriend's phone number next to the oil company special interest contribution receipts and checks. Who are my constituents? I don't care, Never met 'em just hope they vote for me. I like the office nice view especially from the back where I don't have to see the faces of the gunshot victim and legless war protesters. Meanwhile they're alll figuring how can they look like they're doing something and not do something at the same time and practicing how they'll acknowledge someone's concern and doing the Christian thing and Pray their supidity and shallowness doesn't show and the public doesn't catch on. Figuring the public won't hear them over the firing of their guns while hunting for food since most of them are unemployed and can't afford dinner after buying gas.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the conservative wing of the republican party were to break away and form a third party. If they GOP loses in 2008 I think that kind of split could happen.
