Do not confuse SYSTEM RAM on the motherboard with VIDEO RAM on board the video card. They are different and perform separate functions.
Go ahead w/ that 7600GT and its FAST ddr3 memory. You will enjoy many games using that video card.

It'll deffinitly work. Depending on your computer right now, I wouldn't buy a 7600gt right now. the 7900GT is alot better and is around 180-205$. If your computer is old, I would suggest on saving up 650-700 dollars or so and buy a good computer.

The memory that's on the Videocard has nothing to do with the memory cards on your motherboard! So yes it will work...

They are two sepperate things so it won't interfear with each other. I just have normal DDR and my graphics card has DDR3 and it works fine.
