I love the Gormenghast Novels by Mervyn Peake. (Titus Groan, Gormenghast, and Titus Alone- they're a trilogy).
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy is very good.
Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde is one of my favorite classics. (It has a really good message in it too).
