I enjoy the memories, but I like living for tomorrow. I especially enjoy meeting people and having new friends, so I have to keep moving forward.

do not miss my childhood at all. One reason is that I sure had a lot less history dates to remember way back then. When I was in school we read about Princess Elizabeth and Princes Margaret Rose. I still have my memories though and they are a large part of my answers I bring out when I respond to questions asked. Princes Elizabeth is now Queen Elizabeth of England. We didn't have computers or calculators in those days Where I went to school treading and writing and math, WERE taught to the tune of a hickory stick, you had a choice you either learned or you failed, no ifs ands or buts. Miss my childhood, not really I was a depression baby

I often think about those summer days. No school. A group of neighborhood kids and I would go to this vacant lot and play baseball all afternoon. God, we had some great fights !!!Or we'd get on our bikes and ride three miles to the town swimming pool. When it would start getting dark, all the mothers would stand on the front porches and holler for their kids to come in. My mom was a great whistler, and when I heard that whistle the second time, my little butt started dragging homeward. No child kidnappings, no sexual perverts on the prowl. Sweet summer memories !!

Not at all. I had strict parents. They were Christian holy roller nut jobs. They have since changed, and I get along great with them now, but I wouldn't turn back the hands of time for a million bucks.

My parents provided an excellent childhood for me, and my adult life is in no way as good.
