This is a very personal view. I would say no but I realise that a lot of women like to have their ears pierced so that they can wear certain jewelry. I refused to give permission for my daughter to have it done but when she was old enough she did. If you are going to have it done take great care of the slight wound and you will be OK it's not as if you will have large scar marks as long as you do not make a habit of wearing heavy earrings

I think you should stick with magnetic earrings. If you don't get your ears pierced oh well. If you do and you don't like it-it's like all that pain for nothing. Magnetics are the best because you can take them on and off with no hassle or problems. Magnetic works for me and I'm sure it will work for you as well.

I agree that if you decide to go for it, just have the one. Just be prepared for the fact that you will have to wear it for ages while it heals, so if you have any plans for suited and booted job interviews in the near future, I wouldn't bother.
