I think 17-18. It's the time when you have to start making your own decisions about your life. Like what you want to be when you are older, and where you want to go to college. Then you are at the age where you are old enough to make your own decisions, but then again you have to still follow your parents rules and everything. This is the age when the best is expected out of you.

I think that any age is hard, whether you are a teenager or not. My hardest ages were 12-13 because my body was starting to change a lot plus I was dealing with home problems (thank God they're over now).
I remember being 14-15 and I hated it, but this was because I was immature. Being a teenager is all about choice making and figuring out who you really are. It's being a child and an adult at the same time.
I highly recommend that you think about your future right now and try to figure out who you really are. You may think that you know yourself 100% now, but trust me, you change each day and there are some changes that you don't even recognize.
You WILL get through, trust me. EVERYBODY goes through this difficult time. It's mainly just your horomones.
Good luck to you! Life is what you make of it!

I'm 14 and being this age is cool but also challenging, it seems like the whole world is changing and everything is seeming so much more real or something.
Cause when you're 13 things still seem pretty easy, because it's your fist year being a teen and you're just so focused on that and not what teen hood really is.
It's hard to imagine what life is going to be like when we're adults!
So I would have to say 14-15

Well you can't really put an age on it but at age 13-18 you will make a lot of the biggest decisions of your life. And these decisions you make will effect you for the rest of your life. I mean you go from turkey or ham to heels or flats, pink or red lipstick, eyeshadow or mascara, girls or girls, girls in mini skirts or girls in a bikini, t-shirt or button down. I mean the list goes on forever but whatever you decide like what you wear, who you hang out with all fits into your profile that follows you throughout these years. For example if you have had sex with over 50% of the football, basketbal, and baseball team you will be known as the high school tramp. Reputation isn't everything but you don't want a bad one. But to make it through this age group, like myself, you just really don't give a damn what anyone else thinks about you, because you are who you are whether people like you or not.

13-18 yrs. are the hardest because you are between childhood and adulthood.....
.........These are the years when you are very conscious about self-image. You still depend on your parents, but you dont want to be treated like a baby. It can be frustrating when you feel like no one is listening to you or no one understands you.......
.........Also by 18, you probably will have "blossomed" physically, and become more mature.
........... it also gets better if you go away to college. When you come home for visits, you'll notice a change in everyone.......They will treat you as an adult.

I warned my son who will be in 8th grade that grades 7th and 8th may likely be the worst years of your life as everyone that age is very insecure, confused, with hormones raging and very unsure of their own identity; therefore very quick to be mean, judgemental and rude to try to focus their insecurities on another person hoping that people will pick on the person targeted and not notice the person throwing the comments personal failings.
Going to High School seems to be a great equalizer...mean fish that were big fish in a small pond find out they are minnows in a lake (interpretation...not as hot as they were before) and it sort of wipes the slate and ANYONE could be the big new fish).

I would have to say 14 too... when I was 14 things were definitely difficult socially, physically, etc. I think that's the age where you really start to think about who you are and who you want to be.

I think it would be 15-16 for me, but my triplets were born when I was fifteen. The first year was EXTREMELY HARD for my boyfriend, now husband, and I because we were both kicked out of our houses. But in general, as you get older, you take on more responsibilities. As you get older, it gets harder, but more fun, so it evens out in the end.
