I can't really decide. Sometimes I lean one way sometimes the other.

i respect them both, and i think that bon scott was great for them in the beginning, but i also love brian johnson, they both pulled out some really awesome songs, but i dont know if they would have continued to have as much impact if bon hadnt died. his death generated a lot of talk, so they got more attention, and brian really brought some serious vocal presence and power, which people liked alot, and they became even more famous because of it.

If you're a true AC/DC fan how can you not appreciate BOTH for what they each contributed? I've heard diehard Bon fans wish he could have done "Back in Black" (whole thing) , but he COULD'NT...he was DEAD! The band carried on and picked up Brian and the legacy continues, THAT'S what happens when a band doesn't quit when a person dies - they didn't think that Bon's death should mean the end of the band, which is a good humble quality if you ask me. Btw - if Bon hadn't died and was STILL in the band to this day, i wonder how many people would be saying HE's too old and should "hang it up and retire"??!!

The Bon Scott songs rock harder. But, I did like all of the albums with Brian Johnson on them. I thought he was a great replacement.

Bon Scott all the way! His voice is way better than Brian Johnson.

ugh....this is hard, Bon and Brian represent 2 completly different styles of singing. Bon had boyish charm when he sang and Brian just has a flatout powerful voice. Without Bon, they wouldnt of been given the break they needed to be a success but without Brian they wouldnt be the legends they are today
but ill go with Bon, only coz hes Aussie and Brian isnt lol

Definitely Bon Scott, his voice seemed much more oginial. Brian Johnson screamed way too much in my opinion.

i have to say i like bon better just because his voice is so original. but brian did do alot for the band. their major album back in black came just because of brian. brian was fine at first on that album but then he tried to steal bons voice by singing higher. if brian tried to do bons thing then that ends the argument there. bon was brians idol when it comes down to it. thats like th clapton or bb king. clapton could have sold more or whatever, but since bb was calptons idol, he deserves the spot

Def' Bon. He had a devilish mischeif in his voice that Brian could never simulate.

Though I do like Brian, he tends to sound like an angry Elmo.

I like the Bon Scott era better. All their albums with him are excellent. Back In Black is their best album but after it the quality of their albums went down.
