My cup is always half full... or more!

For some reason I have always been able to recognise the 'moments' that are special enough to remember when you're a bit p*ssed off with everything.

Edit :- sorry something came up and I submitted half my answer...

I remember hurrying home in the freezing cold, driving rain - when a bus unexpectedly came along and I hopped on it. For some reason it stunk to high heaven... but I realised that I was warmer, drier and getting home SO much quicker - and I felt contentedly happy... MOMENT!

My toddler son had an upset stomach and vomited all over his bed and shouted for Mummy, I went in picked him up, washed him gently, put clean pj's on and slipped him into bed next to his Dad. I then set about with the disinfectant and warm water to wash down the soiled area, get the sicky clothing and bedding rinsed off and then put into the washer and make sure everything was smelling sweeter. Then I went to get back into bed but hubby and son had spread and there was no room for a very tired Mummy to join her boys. I went into my son's room and crawled into his bed... then I thought about how he'd called for his Mummy when he needed someone and Mummy made all the bad things go away... and I felt contentedly happy... MOMENT!

I am lucky in that my life has been filled with such contentedly happy moments, and if I missed a few, I still appreciated enough of them to make me feel... contentedly happy.

Top Half Full, Bottom Half Empty, Unless I Turn It Upside Down.

I think my cup is being held under a running tap but it has a hole in the bottom. If that makes sense, I am grateful for what I have but its a struggle to keep it balanced, and I often feel I am running a race with no finish line in sight.

A bit like the tarot card temperance a figure pouring fluid from one goblet to the other trying to find a balance.

I try to always look at the glass as half full. Being positive helps me to get through each day.

if it's baby blood then...

it's half full if it's going to a baby,

but if it's coming from a baby then it's half empty.

don't ask me why someone would be holding baby blood in a glass, just listen to what i'm saying.

haha
i didn't think these up my self

look up Demitri Martin's 'Findings'
it is probably the funniest comedy routine I have ever heard.

Don't use a cup, not enough room in one for what I'm drinking. If my container is half empty it is because I drank from it and I am satiated.

well if i'm putting stuff in it, it's half full. If I'm drinking out of it after it's filled up it's half empty
