There are about 40 million Spanish speakers in the US. About half are fluent in English. So there are only about 20 Million Spanish-Only speakers. That is about 7% of the population over all, but they are concentrated in the Southwest and Florida, so the percentages in those states is hgher.

The number of Spanish speakers is growing - but mostly these same people speak or will learn English, so its doubtful that the number of Spanish-only speakers will increase very much, especially since it appears we are slamming the border shut and are about to round up 13 million people and deport them.

Uh, unless we get another 300,000,000 spanish-speaking immigrants soon, the answer is never.

English has always been the main language and we will always speak it. Every immigrant- whether Mexican, Korean, Laotian, Indian, Nigerian, German, Japanese- always learns at least some English so as to survive in our society.

It won't change.

omit Jessica: it extremely is vitally common. US companies are industry pushed and strived to constantly meet the desires of their industry. while the English conversing public (of any race) replaced into using the industry, companies spoke back accurately. certainly you are able to no longer blame them, now, for changing their innovations to fulfill their growing to be Spanish-conversing industry! it is no longer catering. it extremely is Economics one 0 one. As for government, the U. S. is a democracy, government by potential of, for and of the folk. in case you have a growing to be minority team it is making the U. S. a rustic of minority communities, no longer a dominant way of existence, then it extremely is obtrusive the a democracy will replace - no longer because of the fact the "threat" will make it so, yet because of the fact it is the DNA of the "democracy" to alter a coumtry's beginning up (shape) in midstream, could be disastrous to it destiny.
