Whatever you want. I suggest clock-wise for yes and counter-clockwise for no, or up down=yes, and side-side no. As long as YOU know which it is, it will work. This technique works on the same principle as a ouija board--your subconscious (or conscious) inclinations are amplified by a physical tool that responds to very slight perturbations. Don't expect to get any accurate answers for things you don't already know. And I think you're thinking of 'psychic', not 'physics'.

It means that you aren't holding the pendulum as steadily as you thought you were. Nobody can hold one perfectly still. Different people can learn different levels of control over how it moves. Some people like to interpret the movement of the pendulum. It is exactly as good as the i ching, tarot cards, a coin toss, or a magic 8-ball.

everytime that the pendulum swings a second goes by. Thats why it swings, to count the seconds in a minute.

Whichever way it swings, it means, "figure out your own answers to the questions of life."

Ideomotor response.
It means you're moving the pendulum, that's all.
