1. The feel of salt water flowing over my feet and the smell of the sea.
2. Watching my son hit his first home run.
3. Finding money in the pocket of a pair of jeans I haven't wore for a while.
4. Playing golf with my friends.
5. Watching a great movie.
6. A man I have known for 30 years, who was the sheriff of my small city, died not too long ago. His death was a sad day for many people. In the state of Tennessee, when a funeral procession drives by all the cars on the road pull over to the emergency lane, turn on their lights and wait as they pass. On the day this great man passed away I had to work. After work I was driving home as his funeral procession passed by. I pulled over, turned on my lights, took off my hat and waited patiently as they passed. I counted the cars that were in his procession. The first 40 cars were State Troopers and local police, lights flashing. The next 78 cars were loved ones, close friends and admiring young men and women. Although it was a sad day, the procession of 118 cars was a fitting tribute to a man who was loved by all. It brought a tear of sadness as well as a tear of joy because there has never been another procession that even came close to this. When the last car in the procession passed, I turned my car around and joined. I noticed a few other cars did the same. It was completely amazing. A great man died, that was sad. The unbelievable show of love and respect was what made me happy.

it doesn't take much to make me happy --- a kind word of a friend, a nice gesture of a stranger, a love song heard on the radio, sweet nothings from my special someone...stuff like that..."little big things" I call it --- all these make me happy! most of all, I'm happiest when I see happy people around me.

let me see now, life in general,having my parents and family where i know theyll be in case i need them,animals,i love animals,and if it were up to me i would have animals such as guinea pigs and dogs all over the place.money too makes me happy,but then money isnt everything,without the love of a famiy and the affection of a few pets then your set.
