Just because they don't think like you do, doesn't mean they're stupid.
While the average IQ is supposed to be 100 (which means that half the people known have less than that) even those who have less IQ can be sensitive and good people, many good to a fault.
What can be a serious problem is if a person is abused, particularly as a child, and grows up with a very skewed view of the world, and sometimes individually and more so in groups they can be very dangerous.
Another thread of the problem is when people use carefully crafted propaganda designed to make people think and react in way they would not if they understood the reality.
You may have information the others don't, or perhaps you are yourself a victim of such propaganda. You can only tell which by examining your own knowledge for the telltale signs of illogic or propaganda.
If you have not done this it may very well be that it is you who are dumb, and not them! Wouldn't that be embarrassing! There are many who are still shaking their heads years later wondering how they could be so "dumb".
The most useful mental tool is to have a list of Logical fallacies to put up against everything you know, because these things let you think you are smart even as you lie to yourself.

If you can learn these things and teach them to others you will have accomplished a great deal more than complaining that others are just "dumb"

its not they are dumb. Some people have lived a life of not needing to do anything (spoiled) and others not so gifted if you see it that way. There also has allot to so with genes as well. Say one of the parents is really gifted in math and hates to talk to people and the other parent is gifted in talking to people and hates math. Well the kids they have can be gifted in both making the child really smart. Then you have another set of parents that really had a bad childhood and made money with one invention and the kids they have are really smart cause of someone in the family tree being gifted in allot of subjects. A person can never know how smart or how dimwitted there kids will be by how smart a parent is. Same goes for looks. Some kids will not even look like mom and dad. If you take to people who were not given looks and they have kids the kids will become beautiful in every way society thinks a person should look like. A person can seem what you call dumb not knowing what that person is really like and really shock you when you find that person is really smart in areas your not. same goes for looks. If you look at a person and really look maybe that person has great looking feet that you really wish you had or say that person has the nose you wish you had. You cant really call a person dumb without knowing there little secrets in what they really are gifted with same goes for looks.
Oh as for the feet part the reason I said that is cause the shoe industry dont care how a person looks as long as there feet are perfect in every way and they pay allot of money if a person has the perfect feet.

Define dumb. Some people are better at some things than others. Ive seen some pretty stupid people get educated and come out college as stupid as ever. They know how to do some crazy calculus equations though.
In a nut shell, intelligence is broken down into catagories. Some do well in more catagories than others.

Because those are the people who do not take the time to learn. Some people don't choose to be that way (Special Ed) but most people just want to play around and not learn anything of course in class they will catch on to a few things but still they just choose not to pay attention.

Either they lack the brain cells, they were never taught, or they do not have the capability to grasp a concept. No matter how smart you maybe other people just slow which happens to be the case the majority of the time.

It's simple a person who has a high IQ is a person who has a lot of connections between one cell membrane and another. The more he has he higher his IQ. Now her is the trick. To keep those membranes you must keep your mind active your you will slowly start to loose those membranes as you age.

many times the dumb questions are "am I pregnant" questions. considered one of my jobs in actual existence (I actual have a pair) is to respond to questions, all day long. No humorous tale. i think of between the stupidest questions i'm getting on a on a daily basis foundation is "Will you meet me for intercourse"? additionally, how many tacos does it take to get from earth to the moon. What do I do for the time of a zombie attack?

I wonder that too. I notice that a lot of pretty girls are not the brightest. I think a lot of them think they can support themselves with their looks. I however, am pretty but study hard, because I want to support myself with my brains, not my boobs.
(I'm not saying all pretty girls are dumb. But come on, look at Paris Hilton.)
