I had a dream I was getting on a elevavtor to get away from a earthquake. I felt the quake and it shook a branch loose and fell through the roof. I removed the branch and continued down underground. I remember feeling that was the safest place to go to get away from debris. any one understand this?

Branches r a good sign but not when falling.
To see the branch fall through the roof means u will be threatened by sudden calamity.
To dream of being underground means u r in danger of losing reputation and fortune. it can symbolise the need to keep certain elements private.It may also be advising u to get out into the open and contribute ones talents.

Going down in an elevator maybe means retreating from something, possibly in a way that means you are holding things in or withdrawing from others so as to avoid the chaos that lies without (i.e. in the outside world or in your surroundings). The earthquake maybe signifies something that threatens your feelings of safety/security on a large scale; the branch something smaller that threatens you, but something that you have successfully taken care of. I don't believe in people being able to interpret other people's dreams unless they truly know what has been going on with him/her though. Only you can interpret your dreams. You have to take a look at what has been going on in your life recently.

It sounds like there is something going on in your life that you are trying to get away from, there will be/was an obstacle (the branch) but you feel like you are on the right path and continue. You will get to the end of your path, and i do not know if it will end good or bad. The elevator means that you feel that you are trapped in your decision. the earthquake... something bad... took place in a wide open space and left you more vulnerable to danger. Going into an elevator, because it was a smaller space, made it easier for you to avoid the danger. the decent was knowing the that you were safe....if something bad happens run for cover.

The elevator is indicative of moving from your consciousness to your subconscious. The quake is obviously something that has troubled you and you're retreating inwards to your subconscious where you feel safer.
The branch is the news of the impending news and the devastation you fear it brings.
