Not me. Not bad, but not spectacular either.

Kind of a big let down for all those who thought he was going to be phenomenal. Still, a win is a win.

The Yankees are on a 5 game winning streak. I don't care how they get it. As long as they get it.

Clemens may not have been perfect, like everyone expects, but 7 strike outs is nothing to complain about. I am glad he is back and look forward to the rest of the season with him. He is an addition that will only help this team.

Good enough and that's all that matters.

I agree. Good for first start back and for old man, but clearly not the same Clemens we've seen in years past. But his vast knowledge of the game and of course years of experience will aid the Yankees highly. Lucky for him, he's returning at just the right time when the Yankees are finally turning it around and winning. Of course, their great offense doesn't hurt either.

I wasn't thrilled by his performance, though it must've been encouraging for Yankee fans that he had 7 Ks and was never in real danger of giving up a huge inning. To be totally honest, it wasn't that stressful a game. This was nothing too special.

Roger Clemens will not be the Yankees savior, however, as good as I believe he is.

For his first start back, it's good. That's a good outing for anyone. He also had 7 Ks. He'll get better as he pitches more. He wasn't even throwing 100% because it was his first game back and he didn't want to injure his groin. For his first start this year, it's encouraging.

i have to admit i thought he'd do better. he did better in the triple A. i mean it's better than some but he could have done better. we probably won't see him again for about a week. i know Clippard is pitching tomorrow. (pretty good for a rookie) but yes Clemens did good and yes he could have done better. but hey he's going to be 45 in Aug.

GO YANKEES!

I'm not impressed because the guy can't pitch over 90 pitches anymore. He's getting up in years and he wasn't exactly phenomenal but he wasn't terrible. I wasn't impressed either.

I think he did just fine. Not impressive but enough to win the game.

Better than I thought he would do but then again...it's only against the Pirates...lets not crown him the Yankees savior just yet.
