Some Schools Do Not Reuire Any Tumling At All.
It Is Optional But I You Really Want To Do A Back HAnd Spring I Suggest Taking Cheer Tumbling Classes To Help With Both The Cheerleading And Tumbling Aspect.
Good Luck.

I say good luck..but anything is possible..It takes an average amount of people a year to learn it the "right way"Go to an open gym and get the coaches to spot you..practice at home.Get a really good, strong hand stand, that is the basic part of a back-handspring.Try a trampoline first. And you might want to perfect a round off..at tryouts, don't be shy and remember to smile.Good luck!

Todays cheerleaders not only do cheers, but also have some knowledge of dancing and gymnastics as well. I'd hire a gymnastics teacher to show you how to do it properly and not break your neck, lol.
