They have such tough restrictions on care packages. There's a company here who have an inventory and catalog of things that are allowed in prisons and jail. But to be on the safe side, call first. Otherwise, money. He can put that on his jail credit and he'll be able to call you more often. And a nice card with "Can't wait to hear from you again, Dad!" I'm sure he'll melt. Good luck, sweetie.

A card and a picture of you....being in jail means he probably cant get a lot of gifts that you would want to get him...but he can have a card from you with a nice little note inside and a picture of you...Just tell him you love him no matter what and tell him "Happy Father's Day"

That must be rough for you I am sorry to hear that you are going through that. I think its thoughtful of you to still want to show that you love him just because he is your father. It might be a good idea to send him a letter or a card wishing him a happy fathers day.

theres not much you can get him while he is in jail. check the limitations for that jail and send him a care package with the things that are allowed.
or
send him a picture of the things he is missing out on because of his breaking the law. if it makes him think twice next time that would be a gift he can keep forever

Maybe some really good books, or some money for him to use to buy extras there- call the jail though, and ask them what he is allowed to have. Maybe a new pic of you or a scrapbook of some sort?
