Castrol Super Clean. It is an engine degreaser but you can use it for anything. Dilute it for most household cleaning. Spray down an old pair of sneakers, toss them in the wash and be surprised. Great product!

Use dishwasher powder soap. Add enough water to for a thick paste, then cover the stove top with it and let it sit for a hour or so. Using a plastic scraper, the grease will lift right off. You can towel off the rest. You won't believe how good this works! Hint: a plastic spatula or an old credit card is excellent for the scraping!

I can suggest this, Cover the stain with warm water , then add baking powder/ soda, 1tablespoon of either baking powder /soda & leave for 10 min´s, then wash with dish washing liquid, this should remove the stain. Baking Powder is very good for burnt pot´s and pans. As long as you use warm water and not boiling hot.
