pci works fine. depends on what you want to do though. Upcoming games will probably be out of the question.
here's where I buy all my parts

I'm not sure where all the companies ship to though.

yes its worth buying, PCI can be very cheap and effective, as long as your not trying to play games like this

I think if your going to aim for the future, I'd replace the MoBo Memory and CPU, get a MOBO with pci-e-16x (SLI if possible, not nesaccery though), plus a card that matches

or

your looking at about 350-500$ for all of the parts

btw - most new boards for 64 bit pros don't even have agp slots anymore. PCI-ex16 is the future way to go

If you really want to enjoy PC games, move up to 8X AGP or best, PCIe. It is not worth investing in a PCI card. The PCI bus is too SLOW for accelerating 3D graphics. The PCI slot will just slowdown any good graphics processor.

Your motherboard is stable adequate(MSI P67A-GD80 is it?). 2500k is an incredibly stable processor, so because of the certainty the p67 chipset. in the present's photos taking part in taking part in cards(nvidia's seven hundred sequence additionally) would be unable to apply the great ability of PCI e 3.0. PCI e has stepped forward lots speedier than photos taking part in taking part in cards. photos taking part in taking part in cards that are PCI e 3.0 top suitable additionally works in PCI e 2.0. so which you do not could be demanding approximately that. you will get 2-3 fps difference utilising PCI e 3.0, is it top nicely well worth the upgrading?
