I have psychiatrist in my family, they are the most screwed up people I know....they have married child abusers, abused there kids, taken drugs, given kids up for adoption because there new man didn't want to be a step dad..basically they suck and they hurt a lot of people but because they have a degree they think they are smarter then us...they took up phyciatry to try to analyze them self and others because they are crazy...basically they make me sick when they visit and look at my kids refrigerator art and try to analyze and pretend they know more then I do about my kids ...they claim false memories as blocked memories and accuse family members of elaborate stuff that never happened,I know it never happened because they tried to make me remember I was there....never happened...always pull the poor me and blame others for the selfish ,crappy decisions they make..I don't care if they get mad they make me mad and they should be institutionalized and leave people alone...they try to make you normal..What is normal?..being true to yourself and not letting someone twist your true self into there idea of normal...heck,the only thing they are good for is asking ,"and how did you feel about that?"...you can ask your self that and save your money.

I have found psychology to be the best in helping me understand my behavior. That doesn't mean I have eliminated frustration and other such things from my life. Some of us like to get angry. I get angry when I work on a car. I do a better job and the anger is a tool part of the job and that is all. My concentration is focused but intolerant and any ambiguous mistake I make just incites more anger mode-like activity. Then when the car is done so too my supposed anger is gone and I am a happy man. I have seen psychiatrists lose it and really almost get themselves into some serious trouble like one I knew who lost it when some kids were grab-assing with him. He grabbed one and almost broke his neck and then he came crying to me totally frightened.

They damn sure do. What did you expect? We control it with clients/patients but we are as effected by the environment as you are. We might be angry at other types of situations though as we are used to hearing much frustration about common situations. What Magic Shield do you envision we possess?? I am intrigued by your question.
