Don't have one, most private homes here don't. It's not really needed in our climate, last year we hit the 100F for the first time in recorded history I think....

Where I live it's more based on the humidity. When it's humid, even a ceiling fan can't cool you off.
I have central A/C and I usually turn it on when the nights get over 66 degrees.

I have a window unit ducted thru the apartment. I turn it on when it hits 85 degrees and 70% humidity in Houston, Texas.

85 degrees. We just have a window unit in the bedroom. Our family room in the basement remains cool all year round.

its like a unit that you put in the room (not on the window), but it has a pipe for all of the exhaust to exit, it needs to be linked to a window. When it gets too hot, I'll bother myself to install it. for now im just enduring the heat with my laziness.

The rule in my house is that the A/C only goes on at 90 degrees or more... other than that, get all them fans blowing! lol...
