Yes the vulture is like nature's recycling plant
It eats anything that is decaying or dead.It will eat mostly rotten meat that other animals would not think of digesting.
If a zebra dies of dehydration and heat exhaustion you can definitely count on the vulture to be there.
It is the same thing with its own species if a vulture dies of old age and has been rotting on the ground for several hours or days another vulture will most certainly come to eat it

Vultures although disgusting as they may seem play an important role in the ecosystem. Its powerful digestive system can eat bacteria that is potentially harmful to other animals and humans by eating rotten carcasses.

Vultures eating habits are based on the sense of smell. If it smells rancid and decaying creatures, the vulture will recycle it because that is it's job in nature.

It's a sure fact that they eat other dead vulture. Hey, their cannaibals. But hey, it's their jon to clean up the dead someone has to do it.
