The cavs lost the first game in the series and some spurs fans feel like the spurs have already won the title. Give the cavs a chance, they are more than capable of beating this team, like they have done before. And using that lame excuse saying the cavs won those 3 out of 4 games was becuase the spurs were doing bad in the reg. season due to team shifting is just denial, becuase if that were the case, the spurs woudn't even be in the playoffs and every team woud have beaten them during those seasons. Winning game one DOES NOT mean you won the champ. anything can in the next 3-4 games. So quit being so overly confident.

I'm not a spurs or cavs fan, but I do root for the underdog.

No, we shouldn't. Any Heat fan who was looking at that game and was expecting an epic matchup wasn't paying attention to the schedule. The Spurs are at the tail end of a long road trip, where they had played many games in few nights. The Heat were well rested, having been at home and not played a game in several days. The last two times the Spurs have played at Miami, they lost by 22 and 30 points. The same thing would have happened if the Spurs had trotted out their usual starters for this game, maybe even worse. Heat fans would have watched Duncan, Ginoboli, and Parker play for maybe 15 minutes, not do anything spectacular, and then they'd be on the bench as the rout was on. Instead the Heat fans got to watch a genuinely competitive game, once which wasn't decided until the final few seconds. The Spurs reserves did not embarrass themselves, they hung with the defending champs and pushed them to the limit. As a fan I'd much rather see a game like that then watch some tired stars going through the motions in a game they know they can't win.

1. As a true Spurs fan, I have always felt the Spurs would win the Championship this year.
2. All the experts feel the Spurs will win.
3. The Spurs are the superior team in this match up.
4. The Cavs only beat the Spurs 2 times at the beginning of the season. (Note- the fact that they did actually helped {not hindered} Pop in getting the Spurs ready for this series)
5. The Spurs have been on fire since the All Star break.
You are right, the only way the Spurs will lose is if they get too cocky and lose focus.
I am looking for a good, hard fought series. But I think the Spurs will take it in 5.
Go SPURS Go!!!!!!!

Because the fans, and critics, don't know any better. No one picked the Cavs to beat Detroit. even after they tied the series at 2 games. Many picked NJ to win the second round, including Sports Illustrated. The cavs still haven't gained any respect, on espn.com many columnists are calling the cavs the worst team in the finals, OF ALL TIME!!! The day after game 5 (ECF), it was called the best playoff performance ever. Two days later, the cavs are the worst finals team of all time.
As a lifelong Cavs fan, it's frustrating. I watched every Cavaliers regular season and playoff game and i've seen what they are capable of.
Bottom line is don't listen to the critics, They're bound to be proved wrong again.

Because we know we are a better team than the cavaliers. we are more experienced and have a better team. The best power foward in nba history along with 2 all stars doesnt hurt either. This is a solid team. Spurs fans dont hate lebron either but we know he cant do it himself. The rest of the cavs need to step up. Even Michael had Pippen. I give the cavs one game though. spurs in 5.

Its good to have confidence. It really is, but this isn't detroit Cavs fans. Nobody said we won the series already. who said that? I can say Spurs in 5, (which seems to be the case) but I'm not saying they won already, it takes 4 wins. It is going to be a hard fought series. Lebron said himself "this is a different kind of beast" I know the Cavs can play better, I know they can, they know they can too. Guess what, here is something scary for ya. Spurs can play better than they did in game 1 also, way better. This is going to be a good series. Just be happy you all made it this far, no one expected the Cavs to get this far, you all have nothing to be sad about, you all should be proud.

It is simple because that first game was the best chance the cavs had to win, because the spurs rested for 7-8 days, after that the spurs will shake the rust accumulated from the rest days and play at a 100%, and that would be it for the cavs

Because nobody is giving the Cavs a chance to win the series. I would like the Cavs to win, I just don't think it's gonna happen. The Spurs have a better team.

i DO like the Cavs, but the Spurs are a more mature team...they have more depth and are just confident in playing they're best. and it seems like they're best IS good enough. They don't take the Cavs lightly..their coach is a perfectionist and if they do ANYTHING wrong they hear about it so they won't be over confident.....they won game two also, and WILL win the series!

If you lived in San Antonio where they don;t have NFL, NHL,
or MLB, or any good college teams (sorry junior colleges
don't count), and your life enjoyment included only the SPURs
and not night life, or fine arts, or metropolitan events, would
you not also over react and think your worth was dependent
on your SPURs winning (an eating some burritos).
To answer your question because they are bunch of losers
living in a small town, that act like a college town, which
means they think it's the NCAA march madness when you
get eliminated if you lose once.
As LeBron put it, its not the NCAA when you lose and you
are done, I guess the SPUR fans don't get that concept.
But they will be Witnesses.
