PSP Update Question?

When you update the psp, do you have to update it step by step? i mean like from 2.81 to 2.82 and so forth..

OR

Can you update from an old update to the latest and include everything from past updates? Like from 2.80 to 3.50 and including updates from 2.90 3.00 etc.

You just need to get the latest one and it will include the stuff from the older ones.
