lol Just today, that I recall. And yeah, it IS weird. But some people have good points for the reason they do it.

Yeah, but only as a joke. Like we do it to be funny and stupid. It's weird if you really don't have the energy to say it aloud to them so you say it online. But I doubt that ever happens. Or it's weird if you're so consumed by you're computer, you're ignoring the outside world and only talking to people via computer.

I IM'ed my friend before when we were in the same room. It was pretty funny. It was back when I was just getting started with IM and didn't know anything much about it. Nah it's not too weird.

done it in school before. they weren't in the same room but they were in the same building. there may have been a time where they were in the same room, but it was because they weren't sitting close enough to talk to. not really, its easier than talking sometimes.

No why not just turn and talk to them? Unless you are at work or school and cant talk but you can IM, then its normal.

Me and my husband send messages back & forth all the time. We say things that we don't want the kids to hear.

yeah lol its not weird just kinda stupid. I messaged my buddy in my dorm and was like "wanna eat?" and he'd say "yeah" and we'd leave. haha

yeah I always do that with my friends in the car or my parents. lol, its so much fun. I do it with text though
