Because he's been in WWE's doghouse of late.
Now with a lot of injuries (and if Orton can keep himself in line out of the ring) affecting the roster I expect Orton to get some sort of belt really soon.

He's still got major heat from backstage management because of his attitude. Look for Orton to scoop up the remains of the I/C championship by the end of this year. He has earned my respect ever since he won the WHC. But he has lost some by screwing up big time.

hi, he should of been on edges(dull) ***. however he chickened out. and now he attacks others with there backs turned. i seen jr. in elmira,n.y. in a match against rey meysterio he got dusted. orton needs to go back home.

He is a great wrestler, they are building up for him to be drafted to smackdown and fued with edge and/or batista in search of the world heavyweight title
