I dont believe that is a valid phone number. I dont think you should call the cops, but maybe there is a way you can alert your email provider so that they will block him. I would not reply to scammers though, because sometimes, just clicking on the email, will put a virus in your computer. So, your best bet is just to delete it!

That's a phone number? It looks like a credit card number. Sure, give it to the police.

BTW, if you reply 100 or more times to the scammer, it does something to their email and prevents them from sending scam

I just rang the number and bought a Nigerian woman of him for 10 cents. She'll arrive Fed Ex on Monday. Now I have someone to do the dishes.

I tried sending a few of their emails back to them, but I got a notice that they were undeliverable. Then someone on here told me to go under "tools" and block them. It took a long time, but I haven't gotten any in several days now. I surely would not call one of them if I were you. I think these are scams to steal your identity.

I got one yesterday that really cracked me up. It was from someone purporting to be the brother of a Nigerian banker and trying to raise money to get him out of jail! I almost felt kind of guilty hitting the spam button...

Yeah, I'd give it to the cops, but they probably won't do anything with it unless you have proof he's done something, or planning to do something, illegal. A gut feeling doesn't cut it with the law.

wow, do you smoke pot too? sound like you are parinod. "maybe he can trace my call" if you are really concerned about that use a payphone, or hook up a blender to your phoneline and as soon as you hang up after calling turn on the blender, this will keep traces from being run.
