I would be getting Teixeira... My OF is Dunn, Guerrero, and Nady... My 1B is open because Overbay went on the DL. No brainer?

Teixeira will very likely finish as the better player and you need the 1B player. You have pretty good outfielders as well. Abreu is heating up right now but Teixeira is the better player. Teixeira will also have more HR and RBI. Abreu will have more SB. AVG should be similar. I think you should do it.

Depends on the rest of your team. Teixeira is the more valuable player, but will probably not hit for as good an average for the rest of the season and certainly won't steal as much.
From looking at your current OF, you don't seem to have a lot of speed, but if you have someone like Roberts or Reyes in the IF, it would be a no-brainer.
Just don't sacrifice points in steals unless you can make it up in home runs.

do it especially because teixeira will prolly be playing for a better team soon

I wouldnt teixerira pulled a hamstring last night and is day to day and it may affect him the remainer of this year
