Then how long would a light month/week/day be? Also how long does it take light to travel to earth?

I mean about how many miles is a light month/week/day. I already know how long a light year is. (A month counts as 30 days)

well... a light year is more a term of distance. at 186,000 miles per second, you can do the math. so, a light month is still a month, but the light has only traveled for a month, so about a twelfth the distance of a light year. light from the sun hits earth in about 8 minutes... give er take a bit

The dimension "light Year"is a unit of astronomical distance which was invented by convenience and set by Astronomy.
It means if you multiply the travel time, in number of seconds in one year ,of light by "C"which is the velocity of light you obtain the distance to a particular celestial body in meters.
If the time the light travels in one month,week,day or hours you have to convert the time into seconds applied to the formula above in order to measure the distance in meters.
Light from the Sun is emitted radially as it moves orbiting the Galaxy.The rays to the Earth come at an angle depending which direction you are observing light. The ray would travel a distance of 498.3 light seconds from the Sun to a point on Earth.

A year is a unit of time, but a light year is a unit of distance - just like a meter or a mile. It is defined as the distance light travels in one year. Similarly, a "light minute" would be the distance light travels in one minute. You could create lots of possible unit combinations (eg, light weeks or sound minutes), but only light years are used in science.

Light travels at 299,800 kilometers per second (186,300 miles for the 3% of the world's population who doesn't use metric) in a vacuum, slightly slower in air or transparent liquids. A light second is therefore 299,800 kilometers. Just multiply the speed of light in km per second times the number of seconds in the time unit you want to get the distance for, such as a light minute or light month, etc.

For example, to find out how far one light year is, multiply 299,800 (km/hr) x 60 (sec/min) x 60 (min/hr) x 24 (hrs/day) x 365 (days/yr) and you get 9.46 x 10^12 km. There are 60 seconds in a minute, 3,600 seconds in an hour, 86,400 seconds in a day, 604,800 seconds in a week, 2,592,000 seconds in a 30 day month.....and you should be able to figure out the rest for yourself.

The exact time it takes for light to travel from the sun to the earth depends on whether we are at apogee or perigee, but the average distance between the sun and the earth is about 149 million km. At 299,800 km per second, that means it takes about 497 seconds, or 8.28 minutes.

Light reflected from the earth's moon takes about 1.26 seconds to reach the earth, not including the time it takes to get from the sun to the moon.

Light from the planets and stars takes a lot longer than 8 minutes - the edge of the universe is over 20 billion light years away - that's why astronomers use light years to measure great distances in space instead of meters or miles. Other distance units used by astronomers are parsecs (parallel seconds) and AU (astronomical units), and they are both based on known astronomical constants.

A light year, month or day essentially is the time it takes light to travel 1 year, month or day. Light travels about 300,000 kilometers a second so in a 24 hour period or 1 day light would travel 2,592,000,000,000 kilometers. Just keep multiplying it out to get to a month or year.

A light year is the distance that light travels in one years time.
A light month/week/day would be defined the same way.

The time it takes for light to travel to the Earth depends on where it's starting from.

i dont know the first part of the question but it takes like 8 minutes for light to travel from the sun to earth.
