My windows Xp has a virus on it!! and has infected the D: drive it is running really slow how do i delete the virus help plz !!

To be honest I wouldnt bother trying to delete the Virus cause as soon as you get any antivirus software the virus will just become immune to it. The best thing to do is back up all important files and back up your drivers and reinstall Windows. Do a full reinstall by formating your hard drive and choose NTFS not NTFS. Your system will then be working fine once you have put all the drivers back on.

Use anti virus software to scan it for viruses. If you don't have anti virus software you can download AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition. Also for spyware download Lavasoft Ad Adware SE and Spybot search and destroy. They can also be found on this website.

I JUST HAD TO DO A FULL SYSTEM RESTORE, I picked a link up here on this site, and it wiped my hard drive.. So doa restore to as far back as you can. run your anti virus several times. good luck....
