Yes and no. It's perfectly ok to use normal bottled water in your tank, but NOT straight distilled water or any of the spring water / flavored water / sparkling water that is on the market. It's also very rare that you would need to use bottled water as in almost every case tap water that has been treated to remove the chlorine or chloramines is perfectly ok for an aquarium.

No. Tap water that has been conditioned is the best choice for fish tanks. Not distilled, not bottled, not filtered, but plain old ordinary TAP WATER. But you must remove the chlorine and/or chloramines first. Tap water has minerals and nutrients added to it that are beneficial to fish that bottled water doesn't have.

NO!!!!!!!!!! you will end up killing your fish because the water has been through chemical changes if u really want to use bottled water go to the pet store and purchase a tablet that you can put in when you are cleaning the bowl
