...I don't know; with the exception of a few notable unpolished jewels here and there, the movies they are producing (or sponsoring), are pretty much bland, routine, forgettable, cookie cutter, assembly-line dreck; I am hard-pressed to think of one, off hand, that really stands out in my mind (...and this is coming from a respectably seasoned and open-minded horror film fan!!!).
With direct-to-video/made-for-cable movies coming up on Sci-Fi, like "Species 4" and "Lake Placid 2", it doesn't look like things are going to shape up any better...
...but I just keep watchin' them and watchin' em, anyways, hoping to spot those far and few between unpolished gems!!!
...glutton for punishment, I guess!!!

I love the movies on Sci-Fi! My favorite one is Lake Placid. You have a good choice in movies if you like to watch Sci-Fi.

I sometimes like the ones they play late at night, that are made by, like, Hollywood or whatever. But the ones that are Sci-Fi Channel originals, usually suck...

I like Sci-Fi movies that relate to Natural Disasters. Such as 10.0, Armageddon, Day After Tomorrow and such. Some of the space ones are cool too. I just don't like the bugs, spiders and snake ones.....YUK!!!

No theory the place they get their theory from yet i do desire they provide up making the animal attack video clips because of the fact they're all tremendously plenty the comparable. I tremendously plenty end gazing scifi channel now different than for some shows. They do have some solid unique video clips yet a great form of those i dont waste my time on.

They are pretty terrible.
I loved the Lost Room miniseries though.
I wish they would show more variety I am sick of the Basilisk and Grendel and the other cheap remakes. I saw the Minotaur recently and it didn't suck.

Their movies usually seem to be more of a showcase for special effects (usually gross), with little redeeming value otherwise.
